Hi Adrian very similiar to your photo , i am building a Bullet from all my left over and Jumble items i have over the years.

I dont know the year of model of the Chain Stay but was told it was Bullet item ?

pivot end = 7.7 inches

wheel end = 8.25 inches

just looking for a Wheel spindle of correct length.

The one in the photo is one of our hosts' used items for a '53 Meteor.

Next question, what sort of a hub and brake drum/sprocket do you want to fit in it? IF you have the half-width rear that the Meteor used hub then have a look at the parts book here for the bits you need. Note the three-spline brake drums come in 6" and 7" varieties. The parts books is your friend.

If your rear hub IS something different, I'm not saying you can't put something together with that swinging arm/chain stay, but it might need some clever improvisation as well a a bit of machining.
