Thank you, it will be interesting to see how it holds up over the longer term. You probably won't need to have a special outer primary cover cast up with added cooling fins.

Or I could, with hindsight, have used some of the high temperature epoxy I have lying about after I made a carbon heat shield for my VFR exhaust and thickened it with glass microballoons... It's nowhere near as nice to use though.
