This weather is a bit of a challenge for some of us - anyone recommend a REALLY warm pair of gloves - not electrically heated.
The best I ever had were Barbour waxed cotton over-mits with knitted wool inner gloves. By far the BEST! But not now to be found as far as I can see.

Hi, army issue leather gortex gloves . Warm and completely waterproof.

Bar muffs are the way forwards. I can recommend the tocano Urbano "boxing glove" type which will not pull in your levers for you.

I have found those warming pads that look like tea bags to be a great comfort. Can be put in boots as well.

Good for about 12 to 15 miles at zero-ish. Best winter gloves I’ve had.

As mentioned above, muffs are superb.

As I have two bikes without heated grips, if I wasn’t furloughed, I’d either use my normal gloves with my muffs, or preferable, I’d buy these:

I’ve had battery gloves before and good for up to an hour’s ride. No good for all day riding obviously, but I’m not doing that currently. My commute has also dropped massively from the old 56 mile round trip.

Muffs also availabel in black. This was me about to pack my tent then set off on a 220 mile ride home from the Dragon rally 2018... With a trailer, on a 350 bullet. The weather conditions are obvious.

I was wearing BMW "atlantis" gloves (not particularly thick but double-cuffed and waterproof) and the bar muffs. Warm dry hands all the way home.

First thing I fit on every bike is heated grips. I have no idea why these aren't standard equipment on bikes in the 21st century
I've never used muffs but have fitted crosser style guards before which made a big difference, so I can see how beneficial muffs would be - just can't stand the look of them
