Believe the filter you need is Hitchcocks PART No. 90055D.
I would drop them an email at
[email protected] and ask them to verify that it is the correct filter.
Cheers.

Hej Andy !
Are you sure mine is an really old timer....I assume it’s the iron barrel engine not the later ones since this is stock from 2002 India spec

As far as I can tell the only real difference between the 535 Lightning engine and the classic 500 Bullet engine is the 87mm piston with the barrel bored out to suit, the standard 500 Bullet piston is 84mm diameter, also the Mikarb VM28 is jetted up a bit.

You'll surely need the filters suitable for the pre unit motors?

A 2002 Lightening has the iron barrel, pre-unit engine - not a lean-burn engine - and uses the older type of oil filter - kit 90055A I'd say.

I agree with Conny - the 535 Lightning was basically a 500 iron barrel Bullet bored out to 535, with a oil pressure relief valve in the end of the crank, and the oil filter would be the old 140029 or 90055A for the kit.

I can confirm (By looking at the Spare Parts Catalogue) that the oil filter for a 535 Lighning is 140029.
