1965 Interceptor US model colour

I have a 1965 MK 1 Interceptor, a US import with aged original metallic blue paintwork and would like to know the actual colour to repaint the bike. Thanks, Peter Walker , Bundaberg. Australia.

There is a dedicated Interceptor group which is probable better than this site

It was listed as Hi Fi blue - I have it as a Yamaha colour - candy blue MCPPY14 - not sure how up to date this info is.

I have a 1965 Interceptor Custom and it is glossy black from the factory
