the solo seat from a modern efi classic onto their iron barrel (mine is 2007). I rather like the look of it and i presume it would be a straight bolt on. Can anyone confirm? Can anyone also confirm it is indeed a comfortable perch. Thanks.

Hate to see no reply to your question - all I can offer is that the EFI Classic is very comfortable, I rented one a year or so ago, and it was great. I looked into putting a single seat onto my Electra X frame (different fixings and frame to rear wheel) and the fixings were the problem. The front fixing seems to differ on the new bikes, although it can apparently be made to work....the other fixing is the springs onto the frame, and this seemed more difficult. I asked Watsonians about doing this, and they said no, not on the Electra frame, so when added to exposing the electrics under the seat, and the line of the Electra X side panels not really following a single seat, I stuck with the dual seat in the end!
