Has anyone removed this from their Himalayan?

I have read few articles that removing it stops the tendancy for the bike to stall for no aparrent reason due to a combination of kinks in the rubber tubes associated with the unit and the valve spring rate being too high - is the hearsay?

I did notice that both of the pipes under my tank that look like they are attached to the fuel level sender looked to be kinked.

Appreciate that it is there for "environmental" reasons but does removing it stop the random cutting out issue?

I have noticed that in the hot weather my bike makes an odd "farting" sound after being parked up and then moving it.

Having said this after fitting the "power plug" to mine it has not cut out once.

Just curious.
