Dear all,
I have recently acquired a 1946 RE 125 'Flying Flea'. I have not had much to do with engines and gearbox's in the past and wish to have them sent to a professional to have re conditioned.
I have looked around a bit and have come up with nothing.
Please can someone recommend somebody who will be able to help??

Mort, are you sure it actually needs rebuilding? I'd try and run it first, it could save a lot of bother if you know roughly what's wrong. We have recently had a Poster here who has been going through the same issues, search the Message string for his example. If you do need someone, I can offer a few names.

Mark,
Thanks for your reply, I have had a look through the forum and found a few areas which are of much help.
The reason to looking into sending it away is due to the amount of use it will have in the first 6 months or running, and knowing that I need it to be reliable enough. Regards Lawrence

Mort, I'd still get it running, a running bike even if faulty will help to identify associated problems, eg with electrics, carburation etc. What is this possible heavy use you darkly hint at?!
