Himalayan suspension.

Hello. I use my Himalayan off road quite regularly, and find the suspension pretty hard. Has anyone tried our hosts softer fork springs? Also maybe lighter fork oil, don't know what grade is in as standard mind.
Any suggestions are gratefully received.
Thanks, Philip.

As for the fork oil in a Himalayan the recommended grade is 2W/35 and the quantity is 455 ml per leg.

That will be low viscosity oil - thinish - a very light weight fork oil.
Known as 'Arctic' oil - which will retain its low viscosity in temperatures down to around minus 40 degrees c.

I find it pretty undersprung tbh.

If It's not on it's hardest preload setting, the bike sags a lot under it's own weight.

It's why people keep asking for a shorter side stand, as if you load it up with luggage it wants to fall over.

It's a heavy bike with heavy wheels, so it will feel crashy, best suspension around won't fix that.
