Oil circulation

I recently removed the catch can from my Electra X and directed a new breather up over the battery and out by the back wheel, with the duckbill on the end. It seems to be putting out a bit more oil than I would expect (though may be settling down). Obviously I will need to keep an eye on the oil level but I wanted to check the circulation. Pete Snidal's manual, which does not go as far as the X, says to loosen the quill bolt and bottom of the rocker feed and look for oil oozing out of the quill first when the bike is running. The X does not have this quill bolt it seems but oil comes out of the bottom of the rocker feed very freely. I am assuming this means circulation is fine and oil is getting to both big end and valvegear since the oil is apparently scavenged from the sump before being sent to the top end. Am I correct and therefore all is well with oil flow?
