Air Leak from G2 Head/barrel

After refitting repaired head my bike started up and seemed to run ok. After a very short run it seems to have developed an air leak from where the head meets the barrel. Will it be alright to just try to nip up the head bolts with everything in situ ?

You can try but don't exceed 21 ft pounds.

I tightened the two exposed nuts but it failed to make any difference. I guess I need to take the rocker covers off and try these nuts.
