Has anyone's dealer been in touch about this?

No one has been in touch yet. But I think COVID means they have only just gotten back to work.

But, interestingly, I had my front brake seize up twice this winter. (2019 himalayan)
Dealer wasn't willing to look at it under warranty, So I dissassembled and cleaned.

It's not done it again since, but I'll be chasing them up about it.

I'm curious about the specifics of the problem.
But the BMW 310 and the KTM390 has had the same recall for the BYBRE caliper corrosion.
I've read it is cheap steel slave cylinders but the BMW service manual claims to check for corrosion on the Caliper.

There should be an updated parts list/fiche for the bikes affected. Should be able to tell which parts have been changed by the part numbers. Pistons, Calipers/Both.

Interesting re the updated parts list. Wonder if that will be online, or exclusive to dealers.

Incidentally, a couple of recalls lately also on Brembo brakes on Triumph, Aprilia and I think Ducati. So not just a case of 'cheap' Bybre.

2018-2019 brake calliper assembly was part number 587313

Can't find the new one.

If anyone else knows, please update.
