Fitting Panniers to a 2020 Classic 500 - Stealth

I'm new to Royal Enfield so this is probably a really dumb question.....RE have sent replacement/longer bolts for the top of the shock absorbers to enable the panniers to fit better but I am struggling to remove the top bolt because the frame is directly behind the bolt head? Obviously there is a way but because the bike is new I'm reluctant to proceed further without a little help!

At the moment I have managed to fit them without replacing the bolt but is only a short term option I guess. Looking forward to many more miles on my Stealth now were allowed to travel about more!

Simple when you know how - remove the bottom mudguard stay bolts and the whole rear mudguard and stay assy will pivot up and hey presto - you get clearence ! - an old design but still used to aid rear wheel removal - and as Michael Caine says - " not many people know that ! "
