Hi Guys,

Thank you all again for your replies.

Adrian.....
In Hitchcock's 'Find parts by Royal Enfield Bullet model' it shows two pictures of Bullets with different gearbox profiles. The bottom left corner casings are different, the left bulges outwards ( Convexed) and the other goes inwards (concaved) mine is the concaved casing. Hope that makes sense.

Spudgun.....
I have a riveted-on VIN plate.

Allanfox........
Yes it has cleared things up for me..... I have a ''Export Model'' :D

Thank you for your piccy of the Rack.
Just what I wanted.
Rack making now in progress.

Ordered my Side Stand and Sump Guard/ Skid Plate.

A Big 'THANK YOU' to you all for help with my Dilemma.

I'm a happy bunny now I know!

Hoping you all have a great summer and hope we can ride out freely one day soon.

All the best to you.
Regards,
Paul

Interesting as I have the same bike, stainless spokes and keyed filler cap , I thought it was a Watsonian conversion but have seen them called Wassell conversions, I take it they were converted by Watsonian using Wassell parts? (the seat has a Wassell sticker on it)
Your tank has the later flip up filler cap and the bike has a VIN plate above the front engine mount, I may be wrong, but I think they are exclusive to the export market.
The cap with a key that is exclusive to the Indian home market is a conventional round cap.
