I have split a 1977 bulletengine casing and found bearing race bearings nearest the crankshaft , numbers 6205 and 6305 .
All my other bullets have had roller bearing nu205 and nu305
Can anyone shed any light on why this bullet may have been different?
Cheers ng

It may just be that someone else had it apart at some time and simply added race bearings in lieu of the rollers. One uses what one has...

Roller bearings are more expensive, perhaps someone was trying to save a few bob?

Replace both with roller bearings ball bearings are fine for wheels and small two stroke main bearings, but they won't last long as main bearings with a heavy crankshaft
Take care all Dai
