Hi Guys,

Bike: 2007 350 Bullet, model with contact breaker distributor.

Can you help with this one please.........

With the ignition turned on I can get side/parking lights to work ok.
When switched to dip....... side/parking lights go out but dip bulb not working and when moved to main beam that does not work too....
Does the engine need to be running for the dip and main beam to work ??????

The flash bulb works when operated.

If it’s the same as my 2004 Bullet it has direct AC lighting which is powered directly from the alternator.

Yes, the engine has to be running for the headlight to come on. Except the flash position.
