hi help please,bike details first recently bought a 2009 trials 500cc efi bullet. problems from the start .when using the electric start all that would happen is a clicking noise from the starter motor.engine would start with the kickstart after e few kicks and very occasionaly the electric starter would work. recond it might be the battery so i charged the battery and the bike started first push of the button, but the electric starter wont switch off even when the ignition and the kill switch are off it still turns. i had to disconnect the battery to stop the starter motor .i tried disconnecting the starter and trying again but same result, every thing switched off but it still wont stop turning until i disconnect the battery. any ideas bighazz.

Sounds like a jammed solanoid.

And don't replace it with an Enfield one, get one from a Japper

Meanwhile, if it happens again, try giving the sticking solenoid a tap/hit with something solid.
