1960 Redditch Bullet - Brake light switch

Hi All,
I have purchased the components but cannot see how to fit to the frame. Am I missing another bracket or something?
Would normally have gone out to inspect somebody else's machine but that's impossible at the mo. During these days of isolation these forum's come into their own so hoping someone can advise or even post a photo of their own brake switch for comparison?
Many thanks
Geoff

Sorry can't help with that one

I used the later Indian one fitted in the left tool box along with mosfet reg/rec, coil and fuse box using the tool box as a heat sink
Tidy's up the bike and helps keep the electric's dry
Also moved the battery and added a capacitor into the right tool box

All the above is of no use if you want to keep the bike stock

Forgot to mention that I am now running 12v
62 ex Indian army bike very far from stock

Take care keep safe Dai

Hello, you have the correct parts.
Indian won’t fit as tool box and frame are completely different
Can’t find a picture so explain best I can
You have switch, mounting bracket (small triangular one) and switch cover
Screw switch onto bracket, hole on bracket to you right (towards back of bike)
Switch bracket and cover mount onto pillion footrest bracket on frame, again holes to you right
Metal clip onto brake rod
You are missing the spring between clip and switch

My old '57 Redditch 500 Bullet, switch bottom right, though it's not too clear. I think if you click on the picture you might be able to see it full size. No idea if the mounting was authentic or not, it worked.

I think you need to get yourself a Redditch Bullet to go with your Indian one, Dai. ;)
