I think you need to get yourself a Redditch Bullet to go with your Indian one, Dai. ;)

A.
It's a 62 Indian bike they were still fitting the redditch motors
About all that's left of the original bike is the frame and crank cases
Poor thing put up with about 45 years of bodging in India before it came to the UK it it a true Franken Field

It was my 60th birthday present of Mrs Wiskers

Thanks very much for the tips and pics - very useful - but I am still puzzled...
Bracket, switch and cover assembled on the bench with screws in the two small holes (photo)
The large holes in the bracket and cover on the right do not align and so I can't see how they can attach to the pillion footrest bracket.
The cover has another large hole on the left - is this redundant as I see nowhere to attach it to the frame.
Is the assembly attached only to the pillion footrest, and so pivots around that point? If so, I see no use for the switch bracket.
Cheers

Thanks. I see there are 3 options:
1. The Universal switch, which is the cheapest if on a budget
2. The later one pictured above and seems to have been fitted from 1961 onwards
3. The one I have picked which is more authentic to 1960 models but also the most expensive
Thanks again for all the trouble you guys have taken - much appreciated!
Geoff
