Hi, I'm modifying a 350 crankcase to 500, I dont have a dismantled 500 handy, what is the bore size of the hole in crankcase . Vince

94mm on the classic/iron barrel, will check later, same as the CGT535. Electra-X (and, I believe the 500 UCE/EFI engines) 92mm. This is causing a slight headache on my hybrid engine project. Cylinder stud spacing is the same on the 500 pre-EFI Bullet and the Electra-X.

Thanks just got to plug the old thread holes and we're under way. With 12 weeks to occupy , I should have a few engines completed. Vince

Ah yes, plenty of those in our hosts' used parts section, looks like it's DIY effort for plugging the old BSC stud holes then.

Just an idea

Cut metric thread in casings then use metric ally bolts to plug holes

Not perfect but would probably be easiest way
