Oil film keeps the big end parts separated as long as there's enough oil the floating bush will float
As the oil breaks down it will lose viscosity and fail to keep the parts separated
As long as you keep on top of your maintenance you should be good for a long time
When you think about it a low pressure system is probably more forgiving than a high pressure system in the low pressure system there's less chance of contaminants being sucked or pushed through the oil filter then through the motor
A high pressure system needs better filtration than we have in the Bullet engine
Another thing we are running low revving engines we don't have 18000 RPM red line's it turbo's spinning in excess of 20,000 RPM
