I've just picked up a 68 himalayan from a dealer

Its been used off road previously and i think given seat height etc its been left in this mode, unhelpfully workshop manual says take it to a dealer to change it to road setting

Anyone advise how to change it?

Can you be a bit more specific? I have had a Himalayan for two years and unaware of an On / Off road mode???

Thats the trouble not rally

If you look in the manual it says about changing to off road setting before going off road, then back before road use - and helpfully goto your dealer to do that

I may just try reducing the spring position and see hoe it goes, I don't think theres a spring reload to adjust but wondered if I was missing something

All the owners manual refers to is the rear spring preload and tyre settings - load of twaddle really
