Liberating the model G forks

Hi guys.
I am trying free up the partially dismantle model g forks any ideas and suggestions.
Spring and tube refuse to move ..
Last picture how i get the forks i want to use them on 1955 bullet trials project

Hi, had the same problem, lots of wd40, heat and a screwdriver in the split to widen the clamp. I got the leg out by copper hammer (with the top nut in place) and rotating the leg. The spring has a guide in the middle which can swell and become tight. I got the spring out by pushing a bar between the coils and screwing the spring out against it. Vince

Get some penetrating fluid (yes, I know WD40 will help but it's not penetrating fluid) Let it soak in for a day or two then try again. Then move on to heat if they are still stuck.
You might need some serious leverage to get them free. Big stilsons, suitably padded, would be my choice.
