Just a little mod but worth it I think.
RE in their wisdom have mounted the regulator/rectifier on the rear of the left hand tool box. This is just about the muckiest place on the bike short of inside the mudguards and difficult to clean. This didn't seem right to me so I've remounted it under the seat fixed to the rear mudguard. I stood it off with a couple of delrin spacers.
The original wiring reaches - just - or at least mine did.
Overkill? Yeah, probably but i had an afternoon free :D

Its got lots of air flow round it but I was going to check on the first run. They don't get that hot anyway. I've know people put them inside the toolboxes without problems but I wouldn't think that was a good idea.

The ones fitted to previous models were on a fragile bracket which broke very quickly - I thought the factory should of sorted it with the Euro 4 models by now.

I like the idea of fitting it under the seat. A neat and practical mod. And easy too, as the wires are long enough.
