G'day all,
I'm afraid you are in for some ordinary questions, simply because I don't know and information is thin on the ground.
The parts list shows thrust washer for the cam shafts. Are they to be located on the outside of the crankcase? I ask because I cannot see their purpose any where else. Inside, they seem to get in the way of the tappets.
I had trouble getting the sprocket off the distributor shaft. I did get it off thanks to lots of hints, and now am having equal trouble getting the new one on. Any suggestions will be helpful. I am always afraid of too much force and bending the shaft.
