hi i was under the impression from an early post you could convert a scissor operation redditch gearbox main shaft with an indian main shaft for push rod operation , i have a redditch 1958 minor gearbox going in a 1983 bullet.
i have come accross only one issue the small end bearing redditch h6 is too tight for the indian shaft ?

Mainshafts for the twins are a bit longer than those for singles.

Mainshaft will need to be machined to fit bearing, also you will outer case with clutch lever which is not present on scissor clutch gearbox. Vince
