Hi all. I ride a Classic 500 EFI from 2010 (in Sweden I might add). I am now about to change oil. The spec says 15W-50 semi synt (and API SL JASO MA), but it is much easier and cheaper to for me to buy either 10W-40 full synt or 15W-40 semi synt (with the same additional spec).

Is the difference between 15W-50 and any of the other two significant enough to not choose any of them, or what do you say?

Synthetic is what I use 20-50 for v twin. mobile.

10/40 - will work fine where you are Gunnar.

OK, thanks guys for your feedback. I actually found a good supplier of the recommended oil quality, 15W-50, so I go for that.
