Hi

What I use on my bike is ACF50. This will protects from salt and damp corrosion etc. I dont use my bike during the winter but I spray the complete bike (except brake discs/pads), throw a curtain cover, over it and leave for 5 months of winter. Come spring I clean  with "Muck Off".   The bike is more or less like new.

This vproduct creeps under all the fastenings so even after cleaning there is a residual ammount, still present. OK on electrics too. Excellent stuff, not cheap. Just google it for suppliers, not sure if our host supplies it.

I'll second that - good stuff.

Next time I need some I'll get the bulk stuff rather than the spray as I find it rather wasteful.

If you brush it on with an old paintbrush it goes further.

But then, I'm a Yorkshireman

(which is just like a Scotsman with the generosity squeesed out)
