Conversely, I had the total opposite problem when I first bought my bike.

The factory supplied Mikcarb VM24 on my 350 was so troublesome I considered it dangerous on main roads (the engine kept cutting out completely after a few seconds at a high throttle setting). Possibly the why the bike had four previous owners with only three thousand miles on the clock.

I replaced it with a slightly larger (26mm) concentric (Wassell) carb and it transformed the bike (such that it's now quick enough to ride safely on the M1) and has proved to be completely trouble free.

It's the complete kit, flange, cables, filter etc. etc. John. £25 plus postage and it's yours to tinker with to your hearts delight! ;)
Surely that’s not including the carb!? If it is, I might take a gamble... something to keep me off the streets... I hope not !
