After a bit of googling, I have discovered that super-unleaded now has 5 percent ethanol as well, ho-hum..................

I checked a few months ago, Esso and Total did not put it in 97, but things may have changed.



What is the point in hiding it in the UK? In Europe the pumps are labeled 95 or 95-E5 or 95-E10?

Dilute ethanol is very nice. Good luck with the knee replacement. My 88 year old Mum has just had one and it was an outstanding success. Brilliant piece of kit!

I think you will find methanol which I use in my model engines is the poisonous one very similar but a different chemical make up it still attracts water and is also corrosive epically mixed with nitro and gets in contact with moisture

With help from 'Er on t' Pillion I staggered round to the garage - the Bullet is still there, first time I 've seen it since 30th August. Due back in hospital monday so I thought I'de better check Flash & a Box is looking OK too and that was last ridden (with difficulty sometime in June, I think.

Windows 10 - almost as bad as the dreaded Vista! Don't forget you only have a couple of weeks to try it out and then revert to the previous system or you're stuck with it

Every incarnation of Windows seems to be worse than the one before, I'm quite happy now with Vista!
