Hi Lessus---------- just a thought for you. If you decide to keep the bike then remember E-bay will NOT allow you to withdraw it in the last 24hrs. So to-day's the day to do it if you're going to-------"item no longer available"------ is acceptable. If you default as a seller they will black-mark you. Personally, I'd keep it and join in with the rest of us---------- I've seen the 2nd you-tube vid. and you look like a decent nutter to me !!(  LoL ) You'll do----welcome aboard !!------- Best regards---------- Alan R

Hello once again.

The Switch has arrived but it will not screw into the hole,

it fits in but does not stay, there is no thread on the brake lever hole.

I presume when you pull the lever the lever hits the switch to turn the light on.

Does the lever need to be removed and the switch pushed  through?. This seems a bit daft considering theres a thread on the switch its-self?.

The Levers look old and pitted enough to have been on the bike for a good while and have` king` stamped on them, put an f before that and you`ll get the picture!.

The bike last passed an MoT July 2009.

Does any one know of a bodge that would do the trick?

The hole in the lever is a circle with a central bit running through..like the London Underground sign.

My 350 is like that, it would pop out under Any Movement.

so I Pushed it home( End of Light Wire with Plunger)

Then Put a Small "Tye Wrap" across Push in but On To solid side of Cast, Brake Arm.. Still Working Now 5 years after:ok

If Stuck: Try a Bread or Gardners Wire Tye Wrap, around End of Plunger Body(Pulling it in) an Over Cast Section Of Brake Arm.,(Not ally Leaver else it will Pop/Snap".

I Hope this makes Sense!

Other Wise,Clean Hole Well(Sp[irits),& Araldite in , Its Only got to Last the day of the Mot.

Cheers Craig

hi lessus, It seems your bike is fitted with minda control levers, switch for front brake 170504 =£4.50 should be push fit with arrow shaped bit which clips into small slot seen as you look down from above lever. when button pushed in by lever then brake light off. lever pulled in then button released under spring tension, brake light comes on. two wires to connect into may be accessed from rear of headlight just infront of headstock r/h side. with luck may not have to remove headlight reflector unless someone has taped up wires out of reach. gwilly

Cheers for all the replies.

I`ll order the part, I`m not going to faff about for 4 quid.

The bike is still on Ebay and will be till exactly 24 hrs before the end.

I am interested too see what interest there is in it.

Only one bid so far, and thats the t*t with no feedback who does not respond to emails.

So I`ve cancelled his bid.

Best offer so far is 850, funniest is 400.

I was only selling to pay for a Pan I drunkenly bid on the other night so I may have to back out of that one!

Greetings once again.

Just an update.

Took the Enfiled for its MoT yesterday and from the off something was wrong!.

The back end was sliding all over the place.

I thought the wheel was about to remove itself from the rest of the bike!.

Gritted teeth and all that and carried on till the 1 roundabout on the route..no brakes!.

Fortunatly the cars gave way and I carried on .......

to find myself behind a Police car!.

Looked at the rear tyre, flat as a pancake!.

Made it in one piece and it failed on....

No brakes.

Flat rear tyre.

Front Headlight not working...they did not start the engine!.

Total cost inc fee 80.00 quid.

Happy Days!.
