Hi guys-----and a sigh of relief for REG, I think BUT...you had actually diagnosed the fault yourself right at the beginning...Quote}---"Spluttered to a halt as if short of fuel"....And then at 60 mph "After easing back on the throttle when all was well again"---that one is a classic "Weak mixture" symptom ...I did about 20 years in the Automotive fleet maintenance world and know myself how easy it can be to suspect something "Technical" and get stuck-into lengthy diagnostics whilst the simple, basic answer gets ignored.........Done it myself on more than one occasion so I'm no saint in that department...And -- like you I had some "Extra" spares that I didn't need ( But this was Public Money I had just spent !! ).....It's a learning curve for us all this Enfield Ownership..Oh well, at least you're Back on the Road again ( Cue these people}---- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRKNw477onU )...
