GoonerAl, Top gear ratio can't be altered internally in the gearbox. It can only be altered by fitting different drive sprockets.

sorry thats not what i meant , i have a set of the trials ratio gear set and was wondering iff it was the same set that WDS is fitting because i will then have the same issues he is having

Yes the set that alters 1st 2nd 3rd. All fitted now and working ok. Basically makes the bike feel like it should always have been! Let me know if you need any info on this experience.
