Who is "you"? Simon? If so, I've read his earlier reply and it seems fine to me. If you mean his final sentence, where he mentions electric torque and a Boulevard, then goodness, you're being over-sensitive.

Perhaps you could be specific about exactly who, and which sentence, annoyed you. Then we can take care to avoid similar comments. As things are, I'm pretty sure we are all feeling a bit confused as to what, exactly, you feel was rude.

Hi Chris

Raising the compression will definitely give you the biggest bang for your buck (pun Intended).

I fitted the Higher comp piston to my 91 350 along with the 0.5mm head gasket and dispensed with the base gasket. I reckon It must be 8.5:1 ish at the moment and it was a marked improvement. I also fitted the 17 tooth front sprocket. I reckon you should up the comp to get the real benefit from the gearing.

I also fitted the larger capacity oil pumps and the rocker bypass valve.. All from MrH.

Bike currently has a free flow exhaust and a K&N air filter on the original 24mm Mikcarb jetted accordingly.

Future plans include fitting competition valves and 30mm Keihin pumper carb along with gas flow and skimming 2mm off of the head to give around 10:1 comp.

I also have a pair of MrH's cams laying around somewhere from my old 77 350 that I wil be fitting.

My bike currently cruises at 60 and tops out about 70 - 75..

I always say.. If you wanna do it it's worth it.. If you don't wanna do it it aint!!

Tom
