Hi FREDDY W ----------a case of "Hoisted by my own petard" I'm afraid !!..When I sent that last post my screen was only just showing the L/H edge of that road sign.( Because "somebody"..??? had posted a GREAT BIG CAT earlier on..)..I can see it all now ( Brothers, I've seen the light !!!)-- yes, that's up here somewhere--------- I'll have a look at my local map book----------catch you later !!

FOUND IT !!!-----You have to remember what those old road signs meant. You were actually on the A435, with ALCESTER then BIRMINGHAM along the way......somewhere up ahead there is a connection to the A439 which eventually goes to STRATFORD----------So,--it's in EVESHAM HIGH STREET.----Using GOOGLE mapping, some cross-referencing and bearing in mind that there's been a LOT of road re-alignments etc AND using that info of you bikers going from Stroud to Mallory Park, I've actually "stood" (in a Google sense) on that very spot..... Use KING CHARLES COURT EVESHAM in Google and just have a look around....It's that circular building in the background that clinches it....... No charge £££ for that !!!

mention evesham i did a 5 day gas course at their excellent college in the late 90,s and while i was ther i went to visit a pal in gloucester who works at gchq ,did i mention i had my finger on the button mr bond!!atb paul.
