Can you find out what the codes mean and use it for diagnostics like a OBD reader will do or is that just for main dealer's

If the code's show a stored code this may help track down the problem

Quick update, not had chance to get a ride in due to work.

But I have found chafed and exposed wires under the rear mudguard just before it enters the light fitting. Will have a go at taping them off from each other but assume they’ll need looking at properly?

Also, any chance this may be the cause of the stalling issue?
