Yes it is, but there is a partial divider under the crankshaft which retains some oil when the rest of the oil is drained via the normal drain plug.

Hi & thanks for your comments
I used 14mm plug tap & threads are now visible
Applied Loctite "Lock&Seal to new sump plug & it tightens well
Hopefully will not leak when I add oil tomorrow
I'll see what happens at next oil change in 1800 miles
Has anyone used oil extractor via filler hole ??
