What Alan forgot to mention (this comes up pretty frequently) is that you then need to copy and paste the photo hosting site's embedding code into your message. For THIS forum it only works with the HTML Code, I REPEAT the HTML Code, NOT the BBCode which most other forums seem happy to accept. So:

Voilà!

For paragraph spacing type this after each block of text.

You seem to have your electrical boxes correct.
It would probably have originally had separate rectifier and DC regulator boxes but they were never the best and many were changed for the combined job.

Thanks for the helpful replies from everyone. Has put my mind at rest and a I now know which wiring diagram to follow. The dating of the bike is progressing but it looks like it was an Indian forgery, certainly the engine is a few years newer than 1966 - circa 72-75 according to a very helpful Graham Scarth. The frame may be original as there is no obvious restamping and the format seems to be correct. We will probably never know; thank goodness its already DVLA registered otherwise it could have been difficult.

I think that closes this post though no doubt other queries will arise.

Postscript!

I was told the identity of a vehicle is based on its frame/chassis number. If it's the original frame for THAT YEAR, albeit with an engine swap, and all the numbers match what's on the V5C it's still a legitimate vehicle.
