Hi Mark,
yes, I realised that. Limits the field somewhat. I've been going thro Ebay for a few weeks and K1F's are hens teeth. In fact, rarer. My thoughts were, possibly, to get one for rebuild. And as you say, anticlock means if I wanted an manual, the points end casting is the other side as well. Unless you want a tight wire advance, which I don't. I've done a bit with mags, but a long time ago.
I see Dave Fisher dos'nt have a website, only a phone. I like the idea on Paul Goff's site, of putting a small new horn inside the old Lucas body. With a refurbish kit for the chrome.
Anyway, it won't be tomorrow. I'm going to take a look inside the bottom end. Things I've found so far make me cautious, and/or apprehensive.
I think points wins it for now.

Regards, Ken J.

Oops,I think I've made a mistake with the advance idea. Need to make a little drawing of it. This base I have is similar to a Pazon in shape, but machined from something else. I think, get an RE unit and take it from there. Use my base and the RE shaft, or something. It's the way I work. I once made a twin points, twin coil unit for a twin. Strangely enough, after mags failing.
