hi john ,i used to back bleed wagon clutches years ago through the slave cylinder up to the mastercylinder the best tool for the job is a length of pipe and an old fashioned squirty oil can ,make sure you only have brake fluid in the oil can !!and reverse bleed .atb paul.

Thanks everyone. In the end, I used a large syringe to get the air lock out, and it went easily from then on.
