--------------- just as a "quickie" ( We all love those, don't we ??) put a clamp on that plastic pipe coming out of the bottom of the inlet manifold. Now try starting again. NO GOOD ?? leave the clamp on-----remove the flexable hose from the tea-caddy to the carb, try again. NO GOOD ?? Leave the hose off--- Drain the float bowl, Set-up a remote fuel supply( using known new, clean fuel---) to the carb. and try again. NO GOOD ?? You have issues with the carb. NOW}--- send for International Rescue ("Distressd Enfields" division). and I will lend you my spare carb----simples !! Notice I didn't say "rent" ?? Er, gee Mr Tracy, that's er, very good of you. Think nothing of it, Brains----Now, how do you count backwards again--?? Oh yes, 5---4---3-- Hope that's got you smiling a bit ?? If you ask me it's more of a challenge driving through Maidstone than India. Do you know of a firm called "Maidstone Engineering?" Give those a go---see what we get, eh ??
