I thought of trying a 130mm side stand spring on the LH side My old LH spring is about 140mm and is not tight and probably stretched(2003 65)I was wondering if anyone else has tried this before I order one from our hosts? I got what I thought was the correct ones RH is ok ish but as others have commented mines also floppy up and down!

Tornado's does not return well either. Have to flick it up a little with my foot, and it does bounce a little.

There is another fix for the rotating spindle, make or get a long 'R' clip and extend the end up the the nut above and wind it around that.

I guess it's a design fault that never got fixed by either factory England or India.

Scaly, the Redditch stand has only one spring and retracts just fine. Maybe the fact that Redditch was (is?) the home of spring making in the UK might be of significance!
