Hello All
One of the members in our VMCC section has been offered this bike as an RE. We’re not convinced (weird rear mudguard arrangement and left-hand gear change etc)…
Anyone recognise what it is please?

Hi, what looks at first glance to be an ensign engine appears to be a 4 stroke! (Zoom in on the cylinder base) If your colleague can see it up close have a look at the speedo and see if its got any logo. Vince

Mystery solved!
Thanks to Mark on the RE fb pages it’s been identified as a Brookhouse Indian Brave. Not sold in UK, hence left-side gear change.
It should look like this.

Those Brockhouse braves were made and offered for sale in the UK, there were just not many takers - note the UK registration on the 'barn find' being offered for sale.
