Can anyone explain why relative a new bike (2017) is facing this kind of broblem?

Well, it is an Royal Enfield with it's very own building quality. That is the explaination.

Check the clearance between the stator and the rotor. The clearance should be at least 0.008 in. all the way round between the rotor and stator.

Takes you back to a faulty R/R or battery.
Either of these can take the stator windings with them when they fail.

I had a charging problem on my Lightning once. It turned out that a couple of the magnets in the rotor had made a bid for freedom. You were fairly lucky. You didn't have to clean out a load of magnetic sludge.

The RR And the battery are fine though the battery is lead accid 9VH only But new.
After replacing the Fly wheel magneto assy the charging is good so far ( ABOUT 400KM).

Hi, had similar issue with my 2018 C5, the burnt area of the stator is the 'star' connection where al three phase windings are connected together. this 3 way joint can fail through vibration, heat, fatigue or even a failing regulator. The similar three phase lucas stator on pre efi models and triumphs, Nortons etc; was eventually completely encapsulated in an effort to improve reliability, so in an attempt to improve my own I epoxied the joint to the windings and checked all earth returns, to hopefully reduce chances of a future failure, though I have to say I also replaced the RR as a belt and braces fix given my previous experience with 1980's suzukis that sometimes had similar problems, eg GS550. It now appears I have a spare RR as it functioned correctly when I temporarily refitted it!! My failure was apparent at 4600miles, knackered stock battery could also have contributed to failure as charging system was working overtime running lights, engine AND trying to charge a failing battery as it's SOH was only 45% when tested.
