Hi,can anyone tell me why there are different thickness in the spacer between the carb and cylinber,and how do you know its the right one .cheers.

hi nige ,what bike are we refering to? my 2004 bullet had a aluminium spacer with 2 plastic type spacers either side + gaskets,in the course of improvement + getting rid of the 10mm thick alloy spacer i junked the lot,fitted smaller in length inlet studs fitted 2 gaskets either side of a tuffnel spacer bought cheap at newark a.j,so in answer so long as youve got the minimum of a tufnel spacer ,see carb section on h cock accessory catalogue +a couple of gaskets that should suffice it works for grunda

Hi paul. just a thought on how it could or if it would alter the running of the engine depending on how thick the spacer was, p.s the gearbox is still ok.crusader 250.

hi nige,glad to hear your gearbox is good,didnt realise you had left this post,hope your ok i,m all settled in in my bungalow now,although i,ve still no workshop built,talk about long job ,i may have a bit more time on my hands though as work has gone down the toilet ,i will have to arrange to catch up with you ,all the best paul.
