I brought a new R.E. Bullet 500EFI last year and the dealer (not Hitchcock's) did not mention that Royal Enfield Roadside Assistance, which I have just seen on the official Royal Enfield Website, is free with new bikes for the extent of the warranty. It is the first I have heard about that. Has anyone used it? Is it any good as compared to RAC or AA? I have other breakdown cover but in the event of a problem it would be nice to know which is best to call.

Please remember if you already have breakdown cover and you use that instead of the manufacturer cover you may be penalised on renewal for making a claim. It all depends on what your own cover states on number of claims.

I was not told about the cover or given any literature on it by the dealer. I just came across it looking up RE things on line.
