Hi Everyone
When I switch ignition on the numeric display unit shows odometer reading for approx 3 seconds. It then reverts to Trip A
showing zero Km's and when riding does not record. Pushing the button has no effect. If I stop & switch off & on again the
odometer has recorded km's & then reverts to Trip A again showing zero km's.
Any ideas please

Does the normal odometer reading go up at all? Or is it just the trip counter that's not recording?

Could the button be stuck, making it basically reset constantly?

The odometer does show total mileage when ignition switched on but then reverts to trip A displaying zero miles which does not record when riding.
Button appears to "click" ok
The opinion of my local RE dealer in Louth is to replace both clocks at a cost of £300 !!!!
As clocks record both speed & revs and the odometer records total mileage I shall stay with this option at the mo.

Just a thought press and hold the button in, turn the ignition on whilst holding the button in, wait a few seconds until the self check has been carried out, switch off the ignition with the button held in.
They see if that has cured the problem.
