Hi, to begin with what was done to the bike prior to this problem? Was it a rebuild, rebore etc or just developed this fault. It would certainly stop all the speculation if we knew all the facts. Vince

Start with the last thing you would look at---first, it saves a lot of time.

I can't see if you have put a new spark plug in... not just a cleaned up old one. That's so quick and easy to do, and then go on to the other ideas. Points too? Good luck, Chris
