The unit I have seems to be faulty: indicator light when switched on stays on and does not flicker anymore. This unit has 2 poles and the plug-in connector has 2 wires, a white and a red/white one.

Wiring diagrams are not my strongest point (to put it mildly) and I had a look at 3 versions (UK - US/Canada, Regular). All seem to show 3 wires. Am I missing something?

It must have been working properly since 2003 with that wiring, try cleaning the light globe terminals and connections, sometimes only wriggling these will make the system come good. Just a thought.

Just to let you know, it was not a faulty flashing unit but a loose connection. Thanks Leon. Clement
