Hello - sorry for "easy" question for some but not me -- where is the earth on the 2010 bullet -- loads of grief still with starter motor and new relay tested via battery and it turns tested vie meter and it seems ok --- running out of ideas ?!..thanks

The earth is the frame. Your battery should have a fairly short thick lead from the negative terminal to a ring terminal under a bolt connected to the frame. Mine is in the left had tool box (2004 Bullet sixty-5).

On the current EFI models the main earth is to the starter motor body, but a second earth connects directly into the wiring loom via a pigtail off the main earth lead where it connects to the battery terminal. The factory upgraded the pigtail around March 2014 to a better design which is not prone to the fracturing problems at the earlier battery connector.

Useless information I suppose, as a motorcycle or car is not directly connected to the Earth like a house or building, it is called Chassis Ground.
